Maintenance Program for Standby/Backup Generators
· A Maintenance Program for emergency backup power generators is setup that follows the CSA 282-19 Standard.
This will include the following.
· Weekly Inspection, Testing and Maintenance Program
· Monthly Inspection, Testing and Maintenance Program
· Semi-Annual Inspection, Testing and Maintenance Program
· Annual Inspection, Testing and Maintenance Program
· Quinquennial (every 5 years) Inspection, Testing and Maintenance Program
· All engine data is recorded and tracked
· All generator data is recorded and tracked
· A Total Genset Inventory List is maintained
(by Territory as defined by you)
· All Maintenance is scheduled for you, so you will have one less thing to worry about
· Maintenance Schedule and Records are stored and a copy sent to the customer,
with a Description of Corrective Actions taken or needed.
· Maintenance Kits are assembled for the engine
(filters, spark plugs, injectors, belts etc.)
· Maintenance Kits are assembled for the generator
(regulator(s), bearing(s), fuse etc.)
· Load test for proven reliability
· Environmentally responsible disposal of waste(s)
· All items are Documented and Reported for compliance to Safety Audits
· All items are Documented and Reported to meet your Insurance Compliance needs
